Richard Li is very special for every one of us. For example, he knows how important it is to be in peace with the others. One day, a 2-years-old boy from the neighbour was playing in our house. Richard initiated to offer him his favourite toys, that is, Richard wants to get along with him. When the little boy was in bad mood, and pouched Richard. Richard didn’t complain and fight back, he was just patiently waiting to give him more chances. Richard didn’t pass the buck to the boy, he just picked up his slack when the little boy screwed up and broke his Lego toys. They really had a good time that day. Richard never fought or argued or quarrelled with his elder brother, Peter. He never says bad words towards others at home. Richard has got the gift of generosity. Yesterday he intended to share his favourite chocolate bars with Peter. He often donated the coins to the beggars on the street when he was in China last year. Richard likes to pitch in when we are doing chores at home. He always offers to console us when we get home exhausted. Richard has the talent of learning. He learned to turn the somersault on the horizontal bar on his own. He once looped the loop 16 times when he was only 5 years-old. Richard learned reading at school, which was a miracle for us. Recently Richard is interested in all kinds of fossils, dinosaurs, faunas, fishes and reptiles. He found these pictures by the Google via the internet by himself, even though he is still green at computers. Of course we understand that it is one of the efforts made by the staffs of the school. Richard has some demerits as well; he likes to bring some items or toys to school. He sometimes lacks self-control and self-discipline. Richard is acting for his age. We are sure that Richard will grow out of these shortcomings. Yours truly, Danny Li,
