I plan to start a business dealing in sweets, to register a small business, maybe a small company and a trademark, the product mix includes jelly beans, sugar free mints and effervescent tablets, that is, I am not going to manufacture these sweets in Canada, , and the factories in China can manufacture them on a commission basis. We can run the business in partnership. The main trading way is to directly provide for the prospective buyers such as superstores, Wal-Mart and Costco in Canada, through which serve the regular clients.
In the past 5 years, the assortments of sweets have become more and more plentiful; the preference to the taste and the appearance has become more and more hypercritical. The competition is getting fiercer and several big US corporations are contending for Canada markets.
As matters stand, the sweets in Canada are mainly provided from US and Europe, they are often dear and just average quality items. And most of them are actually manufactured in China at present. I can directly cooperate with the brisk manufacturers in China who can make the incomparable sweets with top quality in favor of Canadian consumers. For example, I can article-by-article bargain over the price and negotiate with the manufacturers face to face, and I can examine the factory on site in China. I think the sweet items will crack and find a ready market in Canada, in other words, the outlook for the business is promising.
